THE TIMING OF YOUR DOSES MAY VARY, PLEASE CONSULT YOUR PHYSICIAN FOR SPECIFIC INFORMATION!

Do not exceed the recommended dosage as serious side effects may occur.  Alert your physician if you have known kidney disease, take diuretics or blood thinners.

  • You will need to obtain a 3 fl. oz (90 ml) bottle of Fleet-Phospho soda (ginger-lemon flavor or unflavored) at any pharmacy. Fleet-Phospho soda is also available in a 1½ fl. oz bottle for two doses.
  • FIRST DOSE at 7:00 p.m. or approximately 10 hrs before the schedule time of your procedure.
    • Option A
      • Add 1½ fl. oz. (HALF of a 3 oz. BOTTLE) Fleet-Phospho soda to one-half glass (4 oz) cool water and drink.
      • Follow with one full glass (8 oz) of approved "clear liquid".
      • Drink at least three (3) more 8 fl.oz. Glass of "clear liquids". You may drink more if desired.
    • Option B
      • Dilute 3 oz bottle in to ½ Gallon of Gatorade and drink ½ of such dilution.
      • IF NO RESPONSE IN 4 hrs. Take a Fleet Enema and proceed with instructions!

Day of the procedure:

  • No liquids after midnight, except as in Step 3, above.
  • Arrive for colonoscopy 30 to 60 minutes before your scheduled time.
