Preparation of solution:

• The usual does a Visocol tablets for cold cleansing is 40 tablets.

Day before procedure:

• Clear liquid diet only. No milk or solid foods allow 24 hours prior to the procedure
• Take the first dose at 5:00 pm
• Take three Visocol tablets with 8 oz. of clear liquid every 15 minutes.
• Take only 20 tablets. The last dose of the day is only 2 tablets.
• Continue liquid diet the rest of the day
• Drink plenty of fluids

Day of the procedure:

• No liquids after midnight, EXCEPT a sip to take medications
• Repeat the same process as the night before. Take three Visocol tablets with 8 oz. of clear liquid every 15 minutes.
• Start three to five hours before the procedure
• Arrive for colonoscopy 30 to 60 minutes before your scheduled time.
